Jan Arild Sørnes & The Electric band is growing more popular every time they go on a stage. They are an awesome live experience between blues and soul. Jan Arild has one of Norway’s best voices within the genre, and The Electric Band is tight and funky, both in uptem soul and easy blues. 

Jan Arild has a long history of record releases, and a future with more on the way. Blues and soul in the northern Norwegian language is unusual, and the album “Livets Blues” (2014) received good reviews, with 5 out of 6 stars from Bluesnews. 

The next album is a live recording, and it displays Jan Arild’s strong voice, but also the energy he and the band share on stage. If you haven’t seen them live yet, you should do so at your first and best opportunity.
