Mamas Garden is a Norwegian singer/songwriter group established by the Gryting siblings Dag Arnold, Ingvild and Håvard. They grew up in a musical environment in Alta before moving to Ål in Hallingdal in 1982. All of the siblings continued with music as they grew older, working as both backing singers and as individual musicians. The trio have also been a frequent add to many Christmas playlists as their second album was “December” – a Christmas album that hosted a lot of praise from press all over the country. The group has played many concerts in and around Norway. They also did a living room tour where they encouraged fans to invite them home.

The groups debut album “Billionaire” was released in 2010. It was in many was a project where Mamas Garden experimented both musically and lyrically. They chose to express themselves in English, as it felt most right within their genre and their musical inspirational sources. The before mentioned “December” was released in 2011. This time they did the entire album in Norwegian and has stuck with their native language ever since. Mamas Garden has since released several singles, and the tune “Sofia” was listed on NRK P1.
