The relatively new concept HLXV, consisting of producer Henry Land and singer-songwriter Vemund Rosendal, has really merged the best of two worlds. Even though the project is fresh, the duo has already hit several milestones. When HLXV released their first songs in 2019, it quickly got picked up by several channels. Spotify added the duo to playlists such as Ny Pop and New Music Friday Norway, and national radio station NRK mP3 listed the single “Julestress”.
Henry Land has done well with both his original songs and remixes of other artists in the past. His songs have been listed on NRK mP3 and NRJ, in addition to being played on radio station in both Europe and the USA. He has been featured on big editorial playlists and has gotten shout outs from blogs all over the world. Henry has warmed up for Matoma several times, and played at by:Larm in 2016. He is also an active club-DJ around Norway.
Vemund had success with the Norwegian boyband Suite 16. Through this band membership the 24 yo artist got the opportunity to perform at several great venues and events. In addition, the band can show to their single “Who I Wanna Be” that has gained over 11 million streams on Spotify. 2020 won’t be any slower for the two musicians. A total of three singles is planned to be released before the summer, so this is still just the beginning.
