Infinity

Infinity is Norway’s biggest dance-group from the late 90’s consisting of singer Birgitte Moe and rapper Kjell G. Henriksen. They describe their dance music as “bubblegum pop” or just “happy music”, which was proven for many years on the Norwegian dancefloors.

The two met in a Bakery in 1995 and in 1997 they started their Eurodance-group Infinity. In 1998 they released their first single “Happy” which quickly became that year’s summer hit with more than 11000 copies sold. It became that year’s bestselling single and was on the top of the Norwegian music charts (VG-list) for 11 weeks, making them the first Norwegian band to debut 2nd place on the charts. Shortly after, they released “Feelin’ Good” and “Makin’ Out” which also hit the charts. Their debut album “www.happy-people.net” was released in 1999 and became a huge success, not only in Norway, but in Japan, Finland and Benelux as well. That year they made over 70 concerts world-wide.

In 2001 Infinity signed a record deal with MTG Music and they released their first cover hit “Sleeping My Day Away” which topped the list on the Norwegian radio program “Ti i Skuddet”. Later that year they released their second album “Naked in the Rain”. In 2021 they received a platinum record, for the single “Naked in the Rain”.
