After ten years as the drummer of Frk. Fryd, playing more than 200 shows across Norway and earning a P3 Gull nomination, Julie Enger Børresen launched her solo career as LULI in 2016. She has since studied at LIMPI and gained extensive experience as a songwriter and producer.

As LULI she has released two acclaimed albums and gained recognition through airplay on NRK P1, P3 and P13, features on major Spotify editorial playlists, and recommendations from P3 Urørt. Her single “Under vann” won the national songwriting competition “Etter oss”, while the music video for “E ein alien” was nominated at The Norwegian Short Film Festival. She has performed both in Norway and Los Angeles, and continues to write heartfelt Norwegian pop filled with danceable rhythms, honest lyrics and strong melodies.
