Marie Klåpbakken from Vinstra, Norway was fascinated by the fiddle and the evocative message it sent at an early age. Marie has played the fiddle behind most of Norway’s greatest artists, played at the Norwegian TV-program “Hver gang vi møtes” for ten seasons, been listed on Norwegian radio station NRK P1, sung at the finale of Norwegian Eurovision and guested Beat for Beat, Senkveld, Stjernekamp and other big productions. She has released several singles and an album. Her last single was “Tusenvis av lysglimt” with Gaute Ormåsen. 

Marie has been noticed because of her unique presence and charm on stage which easily transmits over to the crowd. She is honored for using dialect and her folk musical roots that reaches a broad audience.
